BAROO Successful entrepreneurship by JA Carmelitas, ranked among the top 20 best companies in the Americas region and will represent Peru in the international event JA Americas Company of the Year Competition.
As every year the students of the 4th year of Secondary School of our institution participated in the program “La Compañía” of the Junior Achievement 2020, thirteen companies classified among the first 70 of 280 companies nationwide. Then, with 4 Carmelite companies, we ranked among the first 35. And our COOBUM AND BAROO companies among the first 10.
Finally, the Carmelitas BAROO company, whose product is bar shampoo, managed to be among the best 3 companies, being invited to apply to the event organized by Junior Achievement Americas, an organization that brings together all Junior Achievement programs in the region, North, Central and South America.
JA Americas organizes an event called JA Americas Company of the Year Competition (COY), an event that takes place in the Dominican Republic in a virtually way. 5 Peruvian companies applied and we achieved four, the corresponding points, through the presentation of 2 technical reports about their company in Spanish and English by our students.
Thus, the BAROO company was ranked among the 20 best companies in America.
On this occasion we have the great satisfaction of communicating that the company BAROO of the 4th C of our institution will represent the Carmelitas school and Peru that will participate in the COY in a virtual way in such an important international event in the Americas region.
