From October 22nd to 24th, we successfully held the 7th edition of our Model United Nations CarMUN 2021. They were months of preparation that resulted in a conference with the high level that characterizes us.
This is also our second online version, and we have the satisfaction of having had a team of the highest level that allowed us to carry out these 3 days with the highest standards. They were months of preparation and digital innovation that left us satisfied.
The opening ceremony, led by the General Principal, had the participation of the president of the school, Father Miguel Bacigalupo, O. Carm. and our Principal, Miss Norma Soberón, who welcomed and encouraged the delegations.
Alfredo Villavicencio, a former Carmelite student and witness to how CarMUN has developed since its beginning, led some reflections on the importance of the MUN conferences and their significance in the lives of the participants.
The presentation of the conference and opening words were in charge of the General Co-Secretaries.
Our 7th edition of CarMUN had the participation of Peruvian and foreign delegations, who received keynote talks from invited speakers.
On the last day, the delegations who obtained different recognitions for excelling in their participation were named.
The closing was emotional, everyone was grateful for what they shared and learned, and the end came from the CarMUN team who dropped their hammers saying: The ceremony has concluded.
We thank the CarMUN team who joined ideas and effort to make this event one of the most memorable of the Carmelitas.
