The First Communion ceremony is one of the most important celebrations experienced by our Elementary school children who are prepared with devotion to receive the Holy Eucharist.
On October 1st, day on which we commemorate our Carmelite Saint Teresa of the Child Jesus, was the day when our boys and girls arrived at the Nuestra Señora del Carmen Parish to participate in their First Communion.
In 4 ceremonies officiated by the priests: Fr. Miguel Bacigalupo, O. Carm., Fr. Mateo Kristiputro, O. Carm. and Fr. Floristan Guerrero, O. Carm. our children listened to the word of God and received the Communion.
At the end of the ceremony, the medals worn by the children were blessed by the priests, and they got ready to share with their families the joy of having the Body of Christ in their hearts.
